Who I am:
After coaching clients in daily habits to support optimal health for a few years, I wanted to dive deeper into the connection between what we eat and how we feel, so I earned a master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from the Maryland University of Integrative Health, passed the CNS exam with flying colors and became a licensed nutritionist in Washington, DC. I have supported dozens of women in optimizing their health on the motherhood path from preconception to pregnancy to the immediate postpartum to several years postpartum. Some specific challenges that I love to work with include:

+ Preparation for Pregnancy
+ Preparation for the Postpartum Period
+ Weight Balancing
+ Autoimmune Hypothyroidism
+ Food Sensitivities
As a licensed nutritionist, I support you in achieving your health goals in a way that creates ease and connection through integrity. We do this collaboratively and take in account the well-being of your family, work and social life. Ultimately, do this frees up time and energy so that you can focus on the aspects of your life that matter the most to you.
I am also passionate about mindful eating because how we eat is often as important as what we eat. Since most of us eat at least three times a day, we have at least 3 daily opportunities to practice paying attention to what our bodies really need, to make conscious food choices and to more fully experience and enjoy food. In taking advantage of these opportunities, we additionally get to:
+ Decrease Stress
+ Improve Digestion, Assimilation and Elimination of Food
+ More Intelligently Read Our Hunger and Cravings
+ More Fully Delight in Food
Furthermore, mindful eating practices not only free us to enjoy each meal more fully and make more skillful decisions about when and what we eat, but the awareness we cultivate at the table inevitably spreads to other aspects of our day so that we experience more freedom and wisdom in our responses to life’s challenges.
